           Provides GET exemption to resort developers. (FIN)

HB 1917       RELATING TO SCHOOL HEALTH.
HSCR 388-00   Establishes a comprehensive school health system that promotes the
           healthy development of all students and a comprehensive school health
           demonstration program.  Convenes a joint planning committee to
           coordinate a phased implementation of the demonstration program.

HB 839 HD1    RELATING TO THE GENERAL EXCISE TAXATION OF WASTEWATER LEASING.
HSCR 71-00    Exempts from the general excise tax amounts received by an operator of
           a wastewater facility from any county. (EEP,FIN)

HB 2539 HD1   RELATING TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSE REVOLVING FUND.
HSCR 349-00   Increases the environmental response tax on petroleum from five to
           twenty-five cents per barrel to generate revenues to support a broad
           spectrum of environmental protection programs. (EEP,FIN)

HB 2183 HD1   RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUE BONDS TO ASSIST
HSCR 144-00   INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES.
           Authorizes the issuance of special purpose revenue bonds to assist an
           industrial enterprise. (EEP/AGR,FIN)

HB 1889 HD1   RELATING TO AGRICULTURE AND ANIMALS.
HSCR 402-00   Reduces the user fee of the animal quarantine station by an unspecified
           percentage of the user fee rate that existed on January 1, 2000.
           Forgives the moneys to be deposited from the animal quarantine special
           fund into the general fund.  Appropriates funds from the general fund
           for deposit into the animal quarantine special fund. (AGR/PSM,FIN)

HB 1902 HD1   RELATING TO THE STATE WATER CODE.
HSCR 396-00   Allows the commission on water resource management, as a condition for
           issuing use permits pursuant to the State Water Code, to require the
           use of dual line water supply systems (which supply potable and
           nonpotable water) in new industrial and commercial developments located
           in designated water management areas. (WLU,FIN)

HB 2123 HD1   RELATING TO WAGES AND TIPS OF EMPLOYEES.
HSCR 479-00   Protects employees who receive or may receive tips or gratuities during
           the course of employment from having these amounts withheld or credited
           to their employers. (LAB,FIN)

HB 2520 HD1   RELATING TO WORKERS' COMPENSATION.
HSCR 417-00   Provides alternatives to injured employees who are trying to restore
           their earning capacities.  Sets parameters for the use of
           rehabilitation services. (LAB,FIN)

HB 2643 HD1   RELATING TO ABANDONED MOTOR VEHICLES.
HSCR 289-00   Changes preestablished fee of $1 or $2 per car registration, to allow
           unlimited fees to be set by ordinance and collected by each county
           finance director for the cost of highway beautification and disposition
           of derelict as well as abandoned cars. (TRN,FIN)

HB 2753 HD1   RELATING TO OCEAN RECREATION.
HSCR 288-00   Imposes a two-year moratorium on the issuance of permits for commercial
           marine mammal watching tours along the Waianae coastline.  Requires a
           study. (OMR,FIN)

HB 3016       RELATING TO MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TO LOW-INCOME PERSONS.
HSCR 374-00   Appropriates $1,000,000 in FY 2000-2001 for use by the DHS to fund
           raising the income eligibility of the medically needy program to 133%
           of the assistance allowance. (HSH,FIN)
